TV PROGRAM “MLADGRAD 2010”

Thanks to successful cooperation with the Civic Initiatives, ANEM has provided its TV stations with yet another free broadcasting production, TV program "MLADGRAD 2010".

Marking the International Youth Day dedicated to this population by the UN, the Civic Initiatives, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, established and granted the first MLADGRAD award. The youthful, dynamic and cheerful TV program "MLADGRAD 2010" presents the criteria, the award and its winners and has the aim to familiarize the public with the best examples of youth care in Serbia. In this TV program, municipality officials, youth activists and the Youth Offices' representatives from the awarded towns, talk about their successes. What the space they got for their gathering means to the Zajecar's youth, how much the skaters and young extreme sports lovers' life is easier now when they have their own space in Subotica, but also how much informing of the youth is important for Obrenovac and Subotica, it is all explained by the young citizens of the municipalities that have recognized they are worth investing in. In this program, there was also a place for other award winners, such as the towns of Loznica, Subotica, Valjevo, Sombor, Pancevo, Ivanjica, Sremska Mitrovica, the Belgrade municipalities of Zvezdara and Palilula, as well as Bujanovac, Mali Idjos and Kosjeric, for their institutional and continuous attention to the youth life and work alongside with supporting their ideas and activities. The special award MLADGRAD was justly awarded to Zajecar, for providing the municipality premises to a local youth initiative, thus contributing to the development of youth culture and arts. The town of Sombor, the Belgrade municipalities of Savski Venac and New Belgrade, as well as the Municipality of Nova Varos, were praised for similar steps. Apart from towns and municipalities, the media: web portals YOUTH.RS and INFOSTUD.COM, Radio Zrenjanin, the Krusevac weekly "Grad", Radio Televison of Serbia, Radio 021 and Radio Novi Sad were awarded with the MLADGRAD award, because they have been distinguishably open to the youth issues and in their way have contributed to the improvement of their position, too.
