Structure
Bodies of the Association are:
- Assembly of the Association
- President of the Association
- Managing Board
- Secretariat
The Assembly of the Association is the body of all Association's full members and it establishes program policy of the Association. Among other things, the Assembly appoints and dismisses members of the Managing Board, adopts the operating and financial reports, adopts general documents of the Association, decides on amendments to the Founding Contract of the Association, adopts the Statute - Code of the Association and on proposal of the Managing Board, ratifies the amendments to the Statute - Code of the Association, amendments to the Founding Contract.
Each full member has the right to one vote in the Assembly of the Association. The Assembly decides by a simple majority vote of present members at a session, attended by at least half the members of the Association, except in cases the contract or other rules governing the Association provide for differently. Affiliate members do not have a right to vote.
ANEM President, among other things, represents the Association and promotes its aims and interests to the public, points to the problems and possible solutions for media sector, initiates and enforces Managing Board decisions, convenes the Assembly and Managing Board of the Association and chairs these bodies. ANEM President is Sasa Mirkovic from RTV B92.
Managing Board brings decisions in line with the Association's constitutional acts and executes Association's program policy through Secretariat of the Association. It decides on admission to or termination of membership to the Association. It consists of five members elected by the Assembly for a period of two years. In line with ANEM constitutional acts, the members of the Managing Board nominate and elect the Chairman of the Managing Board among them. The Chairman of the Managing Board is, at the same time, ANEM President, according to the Association's constitutional acts.
The Managing Board of the Association of Independent Electronic Media, elected at the ANEM Assembly session on June 10, 2010, is comprised of the following members:
- Sasa Mirkovic, RTV B92 from Belgrade, Chairman of the Managing Board
- Dragan Kocic, Radio City from Nis, Deputy Chairman of the Managing Board
- Milorad Tadic, Radio Boom 93 from Pozarevac, member
- Boban Tomic, RTV Bajina Basta, member and
- Slobodan Krajnovic, Radio 021 from Novi Sad, member.
ANEM Secretariat
ANEM is headquartered in Belgrade, where ANEM Secretariat is situated. Secretariat is the executive body of the Association in charge of activities on development of comprehensive media policy and regulatory framework for broadcasters, on improvement of existing media regulations and working conditions for broadcasters, on enforcement of governing bodies' decisions, Association's advocacy activities, lobbying for Association strategic goals, promotion of members and Association, communication with member stations and providing them with adequate services, communication and cooperation with Legal Department, partners and stakeholders, web presentation of ANEM and its activities etc.
