RESIGNATION FROM THE COURT OF HONOUR

BELGRADE, May 16, 2002 - "Vreme" journalist Milan Milosevic has left the Independent Association of Serbian Journalists' Court of Honour because, he said, he "could not agree with certain murderous statements" made recently by the court management. Milosevic was the only member of the Association who reacted to a statement from Petar Lukovic, president of the Court of Honour, who called for the execution by firing squad of journalists loyal to the Milosevic regime.
