EDITOR OF KIKINDSKE NOVINE FINED

KIKINDA, May 15, 2002 - A judge at Kikinda municipal court yesterday fined Kikindske Novine editor Zeljko Bodrozic 10,000 dinars in a libel suit brought by "Toza Markovic" general manager Dmitar Segrt. The article in question was titled "Born For Reforms" and published in January this year. A Toza Markovic worker is reported to have physically assaulted Bodrozic at the end of the trial. His lawyer, Dusan Ignjatovic, said he would file charges at Zrenjanin District Court.
