GRENADE ATTACK A THREAT TO MEDIA FREEDOM

BELGRADE, May 13, 2002 - A hang grenade attack on the director of Radio-journalism company "Novi Put," Goran Ðurðeviæ, is a threat not only to him and his family, but to the freedom of media, the Association of Serbian journalists said yesterday. The association stressed that the killers of Jagodina journalist Milan Pantiæ have yet to be found and that the authorities are still to identify who was responsible for the grenade attack on the home of Radio Paracin director Mihajlo Peric.
