DISCUSSION BETWEEN STUDENTS AND MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT ON DEMOCRACY IN SERBIA

The event concludes a project dubbed "Facing the Future" that aims to enable students to express their views, demands and perceptions of the country’s democratic future. The project, which started in November 2005, included six discussion panels at university centers in Serbia and a students’ essay competition on the topics of "On Guilt, Truth and Change in Serbia" and "Inter-Religious Dialogue as a Means for Reconciliation." The winners of the essay competition will be announced during tomorrow's discussion. Representatives of the media are invited to the discussion in the small Assembly Room of the National Assembly from 11.30 until 14.30 on Wednesday, 21 June 2006. Please be advised to inform the OSCE Mission’s Office of the Spokesperson of the names of the journalists that will be present at the event on the following e-mail omisam-spokesperson@osce.org and telephone number 011/3606-150.
