This radio was founded in as a public enterprise. It broadcasts programs at two FM - 89 MHz and 104,4 MHz. In three equal editorials - in Serbian, Hungarian and Croatian there are about 50 employees and 20 exsternal associates.

Programs of Radio Subotica reflect interests and structure of population of this multinational and multi-confessional community.

Of 13 hours (7 a.m. - 8 p.m.) of informative programs daily, 6 hours are in Serbian and Hungarian and 1 h in Croatian. Evening terms, towards midnight, are reserved for commercials.

On Saturdays and Sundays, Radio Subotica broadcasts half-hour programs intended to believers. Once a week there is a program in German.
