ANEM PROTESTS OVER THE MURDER OF DUSKO JOVANOVIC

The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) registers its deepest regret and strongest protest at the murder this morning of Dusko Jovanovic, director and editor-in-chief of Podgorica daily Dan.

The Association demands that the Montenegrin authorities investigate this case urgently and fully and bring the killer of Dusko Jovanovic to justice. It is essential to establish conditions and criteria appropriate to the democratisation of the region so that journalists may live and work without fear, in line with a uniform code and principles.

Slobodan Stojsic
President of ANEM Administrative Board
