WEB SITE CAMPAIGNS

Using the opportunities provided by the Internet, ANEM will launch a new activity - advocacy for media reforms through the initiation and implementation of on-line campaigns.

Web site ANEM Campaigns is a new tool for achieving ANEM goals: improving the media regulatory framework, establishing a functional media market, creating a favorable environment for the media development, respect for the right of freedom of expression and further professionalization of the electronic media.

Considering that the achievement of substantial changes in the media sector and its development requires cooperation and joint efforts of all who care about progress in this area, ANEM tends to create a broader and united coalition that will achieve set goals. By selecting certain important media issues and directing public attention to them, this site will serve to identify priorities, common interests and themes, as well as potential partners in striving towards real development of the media sector. Mobilizing the general public through this, ANEM strives to effectively assist in resolving important questions and further reforms of media regulation and practice.

Website ANEM Campaigns will enable easier communication and faster achievement of desired effects. In its central part, the homepage will contain all the necessary information on the latest campaign implemented, its purpose and importance. It will also enable all visitors to find and read news related to the question that is the subject of current initiatives, all in one place. Campaign support form will be simple and adapted to the need of all interested who want to contribute to its success to effectively join the campaign. It will also provide the visitors with access to all other ANEM campaigns that are underway or have been implemented. Comments of visitors and petition signatories will serve as guidelines for further activities.

ANEM will seek to achieve greater connection and cooperation with partner organizations in achieving common goals through the mutual promotion of similar campaigns.
