EXPERT ANALYSES OF SITUATION IN THE MEDIA SECTOR IN SERBIA

Since its inception, ANEM has been one of the leaders of media reforms in the country. The Association has used its capacities to stimulate the development of the media sector and to improve the position of journalists and other media professionals who have joined their forces within ANEM, significantly contributing to the realization of the right to freedom of expression and access to information, as well as media freedoms.

During the summer of 2008, in order to increase the role and activities of ANEM in the area of media policy and regulation reform, ANEM has implemented the project whose aim was to facilitate preparation of expert opinions and analyses of situation in the media. As a result, several publications have been released dealing with the topics such as the protection of the freedom of the media and journalists, financial sustainability of commercial media, preparation of media outlets for digitalization and corporate social responsibility.
